This
is the Mack Granite Truck with a Tri-axle
Lowboy. It is manufactured by First Gear
in 1/50 Scale. |
 |
This model is
mostly diecast with very few plastic parts. It also has moving
rubber wheels, rubber mud flaps, and realistic hoses and wires.
Underneath you will find a highly
detailed undercarriage and chassis. |
Here you can see
that the hood opens to reveal the accurate engine.
You also get a glimpse of the
cabin, I thought the two toned interior was a very nice touch.

 |
As you can see,
First Gear put a lot of effort into the cabin. It is complete
with steering column, dashboard, radio, seats, and much more.
There is also a great deal of
detail on the outside of the cab. The mirrors, lights and
handles have all been intricately designed. |
The trailer is
designed to meet all your hauling needs. The gooseneck is
detachable, making loading and unloading much easier. Then when
you're done loading the ramps fold up and and out of the way.
|
 |
 |
Both sides of the
trailer are lined with tie-downs that can swing out or stay flat
against the side, depending on your hauling needs. |
There is a wide
load sign and warning lights on the back of the trailer, and an
additional wide load side included.
