Tonkin has done a beautiful job at replicating the
Knight Port and Rail Volvo VNL 670 with container and chassis in 1/53 scale. 

This model would look great on an "O" scale layout!
The cab is made of mostly diecast metal with only a few plastic parts. 

The front end is nicely replicated with a realistic grill, bumper, headlights,
and windshield wipers. 

This model has some unique features like
the removable roof that reveals the detailed cab interior. 

Therefore, be careful not to grab the model by the roof or you might drop it.

Besides the roof, the cab also has an opening hood and cab doors.

From an aerial view, you can see the
details of the cab interior and engine.

Wow! Look at the great features of the interior like the steering wheel,
dash, microwave and stove.

A unique feature that you
cannot see from this picture are the adjustable seats. 

Let's not forget to look at the
engine detailing including the
intake manifold and hoses.

On the side of the cab, the steps fold down to reveal the battery compartment
on the driver's side.
The tail-end of the tractor is decked out with a tilting fifth wheel, tread-plating, coiled air hoses, lights and mud flaps.

The wheels are free rolling with
authentic tire tread and hub detailing.
Let's look at the chassis detail; as you can see, it has a working suspension
and dual rear axles.
The trailer container and chassis are
made of diecast metal with only
a few plastic parts. 

The trailer container is removable from the trailer chassis. The chassis also has adjustable axles and movable landing gear.

This model also features opening trailer container doors with the Knight graphics on the tractor and trailer container.

Together the tractor and trailer measure 16.5 inches long, 2 inches wide,
 and 3.25 inches tall. 

With so many unique features,
it is no wonder that Tonkin's item #13-0012 is truckin' its way to the top!
