NZG has done a great job at replicating the Liebherr L580 Log Handler
which is also known as the Timber Handling Wheel Loader. 

Item #853 is 1/50 scale and made mostly of diecast metal with only a few plastic parts.
The Liebherr L580 Log Handler has a detailed operator's cab that can be viewed easily through its clear windows. 

Inside you can see the realistic seat, controls, and steering wheel.

The front windshield is also decked
out with the Liebherr graphic.

The grapple rotates a full 360 degrees as well as pivoting forward and backwards. 

It can be posed in several different working positions like grabbing a pile of logs. 

There are protective grilles on the operator's cab roof window and on the boom to protect the front windshield.

This model has articulated steering and
 a pivoting rear axle.

Also, the wheels have
realistic hub detailing, and the tires
have authentic tire tread. 

Looking at it from the back-end,
you can see some more of this model's
great features.

There is non-slip tread on the platform by
the engine compartment. 

It also has nicely modeled metal handrails along with realistic cab mirrors and lighting.

Looking up towards the boom, you can see the rubber-like hydraulic hoses.
This log handler measures 9 inches long, 3 inches wide, and 4.5 inches tall. 

There are also authentic Liebherr graphics on the boom, sides, and tail-end.

With such great features, it is no surprise that the Liebherr L580 Log Handler
lives up to NZG's quality standards.
