Just Soared In...Corgi's De Havilland Mosquito NFII - HJ711 replicated in 1/72 scale.
The original Mosquito HJ711 was built in De Havillan's Hatfield Factory in May 1943 and then issued to the 169th Squadron.

It was completely restored in the 1970's and can be seen today at the Elvington Aviation Museum in Yorkshire.
This exquisite model is primarily made of diecast metal with only a few plastic parts, like the landing gear.

The plane is painted in a camouflage scheme and the wingspan measures approximately 9 inches.
Item #AA32819 can be posed on ground level with its landing gear or on its display stand in flight.

How would you pose it?
Let's look at the cockpit!  You can see the two detailed pilot figures easily through the clear windows.
The HJ711's features include rotating propellers, machine guns on the nose, and engine exhaust pipes behind the propellers.

The front landing gear can be easily attached and detached depending on if you want to showcase this model in flight or not.
Each side of the plane features excellent quality graphics that add to the authenticity of this replica.
Shown here, the plane's front landing gear is attached and the back landing gear is flipped down (in flight, the front removes, and the back flips up into the tail).

This model also comes with a collector's card with more information about the original HJ711.

Wait!  Before you take flight, make sure and order your De Havilland Mosquito NFII, for it is a limited edition and will fly away quickly.
Join us again next week, when we explore the features of another exciting model!
